Partner portal – Partner Registration and Segmentation
Many manufacturers have implemented a partner programme as part of their channel strategy. A partner programme provides many benefits to both the manufacturer as to channel partners.
After registration and acceptance a partner will be able to get additional benefits of the manufacturer including education, accreditation and a status. This status and accreditation can then be used by channel partners to show to their end customers that they knowledgeable of and authorized to sell and/or support the manufacturers products and/or service.
A manufacturer can execute their channel strategy under the partner programme and all (or most) sales and marketing efforts will be part of this programme. This will simplify the management and communication of the channel strategy. Channel partners can also be segmented into different levels allowing for customized support to each partner level. As multiple employees of channel partners will register for the programme to get access to valuable information manufacturers will better understand their channel partners and will be able to communicate effectively to a specific audience.

Your contact database can be used by other functionality of the mktgSUITE partner portal such as the email marketing solution, alternatively you can link the contact database to your own email marketing solution or contact management system (CMS).
